War Chest Real Estate, LLC has extensive experience in retail investment properties and currently owns 7 assets throughout the United States. In addition, the founder has several other real estate asset classes but has focused predominantly on retail shopping plazas because of the lower risk/higher return profile retail has provided to the founder via the War Chest Real Estate investment thesis. The business plan is a very familiar one that the founder and the partners have executed on several times in the past decade— operate the properties to maximize cash flow, lease up the few (if any) vacancies that remain, and increase cash flow by economies of scale, leveraging its existing portfolio and management team.

Chapman Ducote, the founder of War Chest Real Estate, began his career in real estate in the late 1990’s with multiple successful real estate development deals. In the early 2000's he founded Merchant Services LTD, a vertically integrated credit card processing company, which significantly expanded over 15 years and was sold to private equity. Additionally, during his career in payment processing, Chapman was co-founder of Loop Pay, which was sold to Samsung in 2016, know today as Samsung Pay. Once 100% exited from his interests in the payment processing space, Chapman once again turned his full attention to retail investment properties in the real estate world.
